Tim Hollingsworth OBE
Chief Executive
Tim is our lead spokesperson and is regularly interviewed in print and for broadcast media. His wide range of expertise includes how to make sport and physical activity accessible to everyone through tackling inequalities, driving innovation and greater use of open data in the sports sector, focusing on new ways of working in local communities and creating opportunities for children and young people to be more active.
Read moreHe joined us in 2018 after seven years as CEO at the British Paralympic Association, which included record-breaking performances by ParalympicsGB at both the Rio 2016 and PyeongChang 2018 Paralympic Games. Prior to that, Tim served as chief operating officer at UK Sport, and has also been a member of the IPC Paralympic Games Committee and a board director of the Youth Sport Trust.

Phil’s team manages our long-term multi-million pound investments in national governing bodies, and other organisations, to grow the number of people regularly engaged in sport and physical activity.

Phil joined us in 2008 from the Football Association, where he was their head of policy and public affairs, responsible for football industry policy in relation to government in both the UK and international bodies.

Strategic Lead for Campaigns
Kate's responsible for delivering This Girl Can, our multi-award-winning campaign which is changing the way millions of people think about exercise and physical activity, and has inspired more than 2.9 million women. She's available to speak on This Girl Can, the gender gap in sport, and women’s experiences of sport and physical activity
Read moreA former journalist, Kate is as comfortable on a news panel as she is commenting on a feature in a glossy magazine. She's also a trustee for Find Your Voice, a CIC that designs and delivers singing programmes that reach vulnerable people living in marginalised communities and is a member of the Women's Sport Collective Advisory Panel. In her spare time she's a stand-up comedian who is learning to dance (badly).
