Talking heads of participants and people from organisations involved in delivering TIF, one after the other.
- The difference the tackling inequalities funding has made to local communities is that they’ve been seen, heard and supported at a time they’ve needed it most.
- The project’s been extremely beneficial to our COPD (chronic, obstructive, pulmonary disease) patient group who’ve said that the regular walking activities have helped with their breathing, their mood and helping them to prepare to keep active over winter.
- I meet new friends and it’s really fun because I get to do sports all day.
- Here in Cornwall, TIF has allowed our amazing community partners to react and respond to the situation as they find it on the ground.
- As a coach, I see their faces every day, they’re so excited the moment I mention they’re going to do boxing, or archery… it’s as if it’s an opportunity they’ve never been given and from my side, seeing that, I’m going to come to work every day not because I’m getting paid, but because I’m able to see those faces, able to have that opportunity and it’s just amazing.
- This is day one of my walking and fitness challenge – I’m a wheelchair user but I can walk short distances in my walking frame but I damaged my knee two years ago and I haven’t walked since – here we go!
